Common questions
Does the AI replace my receptionist?
It doesn't have to. Most practices use F4TE to handle overflow — calls when the front desk is busy, after-hours calls, and lunch hour gaps. Your receptionist focuses on the patients in the room. F4TE handles the phones.
Is this HIPAA compliant?
Yes. We build on HIPAA-eligible infrastructure (GoHighLevel) and can provide a Business Associate Agreement (BAA). Patient data stays in your account and is never shared with third parties.
How long does setup take?
AI Chat is live in 2–3 hours. AI Receptionist takes 1–2 business days, including the A2P SMS registration required by carriers. You don't touch any of this — we handle it.
What happens when the AI can't answer a question?
The AI captures the caller's name, phone number, and what they need — then flags it for your team. You get a full summary of the conversation so you can call back with complete context. Nothing falls through the cracks.
Does it integrate with my PMS (Dentrix, Eaglesoft)?
Direct PMS integration is on the roadmap for Q3 2026. In the meantime, bookings are captured in the F4TE dashboard and your team transfers them to your PMS — a 30-second task vs. playing phone tag all day.
Can I upgrade from Chat to Voice later?
Absolutely. Most practices start with Chat to see it working, then upgrade to Voice within 30–60 days. Your setup carries over — we just flip on the voice agent.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contracts, no surprises. There's a $299 one-time setup fee to get your AI configured and live. After that, it's month-to-month — cancel anytime, though we're confident you won't want to.
